Pregnancy monitoring consultation / birth plan

The pregnancy monitoring consultation / birth plan consultation is conducted at home or at a location of the pregnant woman's choice, lasting approximately 2 hours.

It includes:

- Assessment of blood pressure, weight, and BMI

- Assessment of uterine growth and abdominal palpation to determine fetal position (after 36 weeks)

- Auscultation of fetal heartbeats

- Evaluation of tests

- Recommendations regarding diet, vitamin and mineral supplements, tests to be performed, vaccination if chosen, among others

- Prior provision of documents to assist in the construction of the birth and postpartum plan. Evaluation of the prepared documents and follow-up on their completion with suggestions for improvement.

- Provision of a report of the consultation and registration in the pregnancy follow-up book.
